Plate Tectonics: a history of a changing climate through geologic forcing.

The plate movement in this model is driven by the thermal variation of the Earth's magnetic field generating core/outer core materials from the variable amplitude of current within the magnetic field's generator. The two directional movements in magnetic energy output are coupled to strain energy displacement of the mantle that opens the ridges. The ridge infill of the last several million years is the source of this plate movement as the mantle moves down and compresses it to drive subduction.
